How do voice commands work?
While listening, say "Hey Teal" and ask anything about what you are hearing. You can also say "pause", "play", or ask to jump to a specific part. Manage phrases in the app under Settings → Voice Commands.
What are premium voice credits?
Premium voices use high-quality cloud narration and consume monthly credits. When credits run out, playback continues seamlessly with the free on-device voice. Credits reset every month.
How do I reset my password?
On the sign-in screen, enter your email and tap Forgot password? A reset link will be emailed to you if the account exists.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes your account and data. You can also email us and we will delete it for you.
Why does the app ask for microphone access?
The microphone powers the "Hey Teal" wake word and voice commands. Speech is processed for these features only, and you can use the entire app without granting microphone access.
